Amog Rao
Research Fellow @ Microsoft Research India
Hi! I am currently a Research Fellow at Microsoft Research India. My research interests focus on world models, computer vision, multi-modal learning, with a focus on medical AI and deployable systems for healthcare.
Previously, I was a Visiting Student Researcher at MBZUAI working under Dr. Hisham Cholakkal, where I vision-language models for medical imaging settings. Before that, I conducted research with Prof. Yangming Ou and Dr. Rina Bao from Harvard Medical School on neonatal brain MRI and medical image segmentation. Under the Meta Llama Impact Grant, I contributed to AI for social impact as a Machine Learning Intern at Wadhwani AI, working on systems to improve English pronunciation proficiency. I also spent a summer at the IISc Sustainable Transportation Lab and have worked on geospatial computer vision at the Geo AI lab.
I have completed my B.Tech in Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence from Plaksha University.
My website is being developed right now. This page will be updated soon!
